About SCOTT GODDARD
Scott Goddard holds a black sash in Wing Chun, a black belt in Judo and is a second degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Scott began studying martial arts at the age of five in his former home country of England. There he trained in various martial arts including Wing-Chun, Thai Boxing, Western Boxing and Judo. Scott participated in the first ever Vale Tudo competition held in England and won his division. He’s also fought at a national level winning many Judo tournaments. At the age of 26, Scott was introduced to Brazilian Jui-Jitsu through a seminar held in England by John Machado. Three months later, Scott was studying Brazilian jiu jitsu in Los Angeles under Rigan Machado. Scott achieved his black belt in a record three and a half years and was the first person from England to ever receive his black belt in Brazilian Jui-jitsu. During his martial arts career, Scott has had the honor of training with some of the best Jiu-jitsu and MMA fighters out there including the legendary Rigan Machado, John Machado and Roger Machado, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Rico Rodriguez, UFC fighter Frank Trigg and Shooto Champion Eric Paulson.
